About Terry J. Seamens
Terry moved to Takoma Park in 1983. After a long Career in Information Technology with Intel Corporation and Science Applications International Corporation, Terry became active in the community. Terry joined the Takoma Park City Council in 1999. Terry is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Human Services and Public Safety Policy Committee. Working with his wife, Joyce, Terry volunteers with the SHARE food Network, the Manna Food Center of Rockville, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Adventist Community Service of Greater Washington’s (ACSGW). Terry is also a longtime member of Sligo Baptist Church, and a member of the Takoma Park Independence Day Committee. In 2010, Terry joined three other Takoma Park residents to open Skipjack Real Estate, Inc. and is President of Responsible Earthlings, Inc.
