Vandalism to Vehicle - Community Advisory

On April 22, 2014, at approximately 10:15 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of vandalism to vehicle. Some time between 6:30 pm and 10:00 pm, unknown suspect(s) vandalized the victim's vehicle by drilling a hole in the fuel tank leaving the vehicle inoperable.

Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On April 22, 2014 at approximately 1:45 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7200 block of Minter Place for a report of a theft from auto. Some time between April 21 at 9:30 pm and April 22 at 12:00 pm, unknown suspect(s entered the victim's vehicle and stole property.

Theft from Building - Community Advisory

On April 22, 2013, at approximately 1:59 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue (Amono Store) for a report of a theft that occurred. An unknown female entered the store and stole property. The suspect is described as a black female, medium complexion, 40-50 years old, 5'5, short black and gray dreads, 130 lbs., last seen wearing a plaid vest and tan pants and carrying bulky grocery bags. She left the store on foot walking across Carroll Avenue towards Westmoreland Avenue.

State Fire Marshal Offers Grilling Safety Tips - Community Advisory

As outdoor temperatures begin to raise, families across Maryland will venture outside – either to the beach, the mountains or maybe just to their backyard. Increased outdoor activities also result in an increase of outdoor fire risks; therefore the Office of the State Fire Marshal is providing a few common-sense tips that will help Marylanders enjoy a safe grilling season.

Stolen Auto - Community Advisory

On April 22, 2014, at approximately 1:45 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7300 block of Garland Avenue for a report of a stolen auto. The outstanding stolen vehicle is described as a reddish-orange 2007 Buick Rendezvous #MD8AW1432. Some time between April 21 at 7:00 pm and April 22 at 1:22 am, unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's vehicle, which was parked on the street in front of his residence.
