Arrests:

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, October 22nd at 12:13 p.m., a male 25, was arrested for having an open theft and forgery warrant.

7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Monday, October 21st at 4:43 a.m., a male 34, was arrested for having an open failure to pay child support warrant.

1100 blk. of University Blvd., on Saturday, October 19th at 12:42 a.m., a female 38, was arrested for DUI, DWI, and driving with a suspended registration.

 

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, October 18th at 12:08 a.m., a male 29, was arrested for having an open driving without a license warrant.

Residential Burglary

7500 blk. of Piney Branch Rd., on Friday, October 18th at 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into a residence through a rear door, but were unsuccessful.

Larceny from Vehicle

200 blk. of Grant Ave., on Sunday, October 20th at 9:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle through an unlocked door and stole property.

Residential Burglary

7000 blk. of Sycamore Ave., on Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence through an unlocked window and stole property.

Larceny from Vehicle

6500 blk. of Allegheny Ave., on Friday, October 18th at 9:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a vehicle through an unlocked door and stole property.

Residential Burglary

100 blk. of Ritchie Ave., on Friday, October 18th at 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into a residence through a front door and window, but were unsuccessful.

Ward 5:

Larceny

600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A known male suspect stole property from a female victim’s apartment.

Ward 6:

Simple Assault

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Monday, October 21st at 4:28 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. An unknown male assaulted a male victim during an altercation that turned physical. The suspects fled the scene before units arrived. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Larceny from Vehicle

7400 blk. of Jackson Ave., on Wednesday, October 23rd at 8:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property.

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

7500 blk. of New Hampshire Ave, on Wednesday, October 23rd at 4:37 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A male 43, was arrested for theft, after he was apprehended for breaking into a vehicle.

Auto Theft

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, October 22nd at 12:13 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft in progress. Two male suspects were observed stealing a male victim’s scooter. When units arrived the suspects fled in opposite directions, making good on their escape. The scooter was recovered.
