1100 blk. of University Blvd., on Thursday, August 15th at 2:36 a.m., a male 39, was arrested for having an open driving on a suspended license warrant.

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Saturday, August 3rd at 5:14 a.m., a male 43, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

1100 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Wednesday, August 14th at 8:45 a.m., a male 39, was arrested for having an open driving without a license warrant.

Larceny from Vehicle

7400 blk. of Holly Ave., on Wednesday, August 7th at 11:19 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window and stole property.

7400 blk. of Cedar Ave., on Saturday, August 3rd at 12:46 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property.

6900 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Thursday, August 8th at 3:50 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A male 22, was arrested for assaulting a male victim during an altercation that turned physical.

Larceny

7600 blk. of Carroll Ave, on Tuesday, August 6th at 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole an employee’s unattended property from an office.

7600 blk. of Carroll Ave, on Monday, August 5th at 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. A female 23, was cited for stealing a victim’s property that was left unattended in a bathroom.

6700 blk. of Prince Georges Ave., on Wednesday, August 7th at 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) kicked in a front door to a residence and stole property.

Auto Theft

700 blk. of Ethan Allen Ave., on Monday, August 5th at 10:18 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a green 2000 Honda Odyssey from a parking lot by unknown means.

6600 blk. of Eastern Ave., on Saturday, August 3rd at 10:40 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) removed a secured scooter from a porch by cutting a chain lock.

Assault

7600 blk. of Maple Ave., on Tuesday, August 13th at 5:22 p.m., officers responded to an assault that occurred earlier. A known male and female suspect assaulted a female victim in a parking lot during an altercation that turned physical. The victim suffered minor injuries and charges are pending.

8200 blk. of Roanoke Ave., on Tuesday, August 13th at 3:03 p.m., officers responded to an assault that occurred earlier. A female 29, was arrested for assaulting a male victim during an altercation that tuned physical.

600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Monday, August 5th at 12:25 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A male 28, was arrested for stabbing a male victim during an altercation. The victim suffered injuries. Through investigation the suspect was identified and later arrested.

700 blk. of Houston Ave, on Friday, August 2nd at 2:01 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole packages from a victim’s front porch.

Auto Theft

600 blk. of Hudson Ave., on Tuesday, August 13th at 2:44 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole a white 1996 Ford F-150 by unknown means while it was parked on the street.

8200 blk. of Houston Ct., on Wednesday, August 14th at 12:19 a.m., officers responded to an attempted auto theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal a silver 1995 Ford Mustang, but were unsuccessful.

Robbery

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, August 9th at 5:53 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. Two male suspects approached a male victim in an office building and asked if would like to buy some items for sale. The victim refused at which point the suspects hit the victim and attempted to take a check that was in the victim’s hand. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the scene. The victim was not harmed.
