Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 22, 2013, at approximately 8:13 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6700 block of Westmoreland Avenue for a report of a theft from auto. Sometime during the previous evening, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle through an unlocked door and stole property.

Gas Station Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On January 22, 2013, at approximately 12:10 pm, Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred earlier in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). While the victim was pumping gas, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle through the unlocked right rear passenger side door and took property. The suspect was driving a white 2-door Nissan Altima with unknown temporary registration plates. He fled south on New Hampshire Avenue toward Eastern Avenue.

Attempt Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 22, 2013, at approximately 9:45 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 100 block of Elm Avenue for a report of an attempt theft from auto. The victim parked his vehicle in his driveway and sometime between September 21 at 7:00 pm and September 22 at 9:45 am, unknown suspect(s) entered the unlocked vehicle; however, property was not stolen.

Sometime between September 20 at 5:00 pm and September 22 at 8:00 am, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle through an unlocked door and stole property.

Attempt Theft from Auto; Destruction of Property - Community Advisory

On September 22, 2013, at approximately 8:14 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7600 block of Carroll Avenue (Washington Adventist Hospital parking garage) for a report of an attempt theft from auto and destruction of property. Sometime between September 21 at 6:30 pm and September 22 at 8:00 am, unknown suspect(s) smashed out the rear glass window of the victim's vehicle. No property was stolen.

On September 22, 2013, at approximately 2:45 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of Holly Avenue for a report of an attempt theft from auto. Unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle by unknown means; however, no property was stolen.

Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 21, 2013, at approximately 12:30 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7000 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Grace United Methodist Church) for reports of a theft from auto. Between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle by smashing out the left front driver's door window and stole property.

Destruction of Property - Community Advisory

On September 21, 2013, at approximately 12:20 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Popeyes) for the report of destruction of property. An unknown suspect threw a metal public garbage can lid through the window of the establishment. He requested food and when he was told there was not any, he left and returned shortly after with the garbage can lid and threw it into the broken window and fled again. A canvass of the area was established, however, the suspect was not apprehended.

Residential Burglary - Community Advisory

On September 20, 2013, at approximately 7:50 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7500 block of Holly Avenue for reports of a burglary that occurred sometime between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. Unknown suspect(s)made entry into the residence by unknown means and stole property.
