Chief Alan M. Goldberg of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Stephen Nurse, 43, of Riverdale, Maryland, for theft from auto.

On October 23, 2013, at approximately 4:37 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the parking lot in the 7500 block of New Hampshire Avenue for report of a theft from auto. After exiting the market, the victim discovered that property had been removed from her vehicle. A review of the security camera inside the market identified the suspect as Stephen Nurse. The victim canvassed the area and was able to find Nurse who she told to return her property. Takoma Park Police officers were able to apprehend Nurse and take him into custody.

Nurse was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident.
