Chief Alan M. Goldberg of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Shaun'Bredrk Lee-Pender, 20, of Hyattsville, Maryland, for disturbing school operations.

On December 19, 2013, Takoma Park Police were dispatched to the 7600 block of Takoma Avenue (Montgomery College Takoma Park Campus), Takoma Park, Maryland, for a threat by a student via text. Lee-Pender sent threatening texts to a school official indicating harm against the school official and other students. At 7:00 pm, a warrant was issued for Lee-Pender's arrest. The arrest warrant was executed at Lee-Pender's residence by the Takoma Park Special Assignment Team (SAT). Lee-Pender was arrested without incident.
