Chief Alan M. Goldberg of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Niccole Denise Bailey, 36, of no fixed address, for theft.

On March 20, 2014, at approximately 6:49 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Advanced Auto Parts Store) for a reported theft. Bailey walked into the establishment, took property and left without paying. She was seen walking across New Hampshire Avenue attempting to sell the stolen property.

An employee of the establishment gave a description of Bailey and the police also viewed store surveillance. Police responded across the street where Bailey was and she indicated she was no longer in possession of the stolen property. A K9 track was conducted in an effort to locate the stolen property, which yielded negative results.

Bailey was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident.

** A photograph of Bailey is not available at this time **
