Chief Alan M. Goldberg from the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Cyril Briscoe, 21, of Washington, D.C., for an outstanding warrant for destruction of property.

On March 28, 2014, Special Assignment Team (SAT) detectives responded to the 7600 block of Maple Avenue for a vandalism that occurred earlier. Investigation revealed that two subjects attempted to gain access to a secure door causing damage, to include bending the door and smashing a window. The subjects were caught on video surveillance. Detectives reviewed the video surveillance and were able to identify Brisco due to his affiliation with a local street gang.

The Special Assignment Team located Brisco and arrested him for the destruction of property. He was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
