1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Tuesday, January 14th at 12:50 a.m., a male 32, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

8600 blk. of Flower Ave., on Monday, January 13th at 9:18 p.m., a male 51, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

7300 blk. of Takoma Ave., on Monday, January 13th at 12:36 a.m., a male 40, was arrested for having an open failure to appear in court warrant.

Residential Burglary

7200 blk. of Holly Ave., on Tuesday, January 14th at 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence through an unlocked window and stole property.

Larceny from Vehicle

6900 blk. of Laurel Ave., on Sunday, January 12th at 9:20 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

8400 blk. of Piney Branch Rd., on Thursday, January 16th at 7:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

7600 blk. of Takoma Ave., on Monday, January 13th at 3:43 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

7600 blk. of Takoma Ave., on Tuesday, January 14th at 12:21 a.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. An unknown male suspect entered an unlocked office and stole unattended property.

Robbery

Unit blk. of Walnut St., on Saturday, January 11th at 5:56 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. An unknown male suspect exited a vehicle and approached a female victim as she walked. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim did not suffer any injury.

6600 blk. of Gude Ave., on Friday, January 10th at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property.

Larceny

6500 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, January 10th at 8:31 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A known male suspect took property from a male victim after the victim left the suspect alone in his vehicle while running an errand.

6500 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, January 14th at 3:50 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. A known male suspect was having his vehicle serviced and fled the scene with equipment still in his vehicle after an argument took place.

Auto Theft

7700 blk. of Maple Ave., on Monday, January 13th at 8:45 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole a blue 2002 Honda Accord by unknown means while it was parked on the street.

Unit blk. of Ritchie Ave., on Sunday, January 12th at 8:05 a.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) stole a silver 2011 Honda Pilot from a victims driveway when it was left unlocked with the engine running.

Simple Assault

600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Monday, January 13th at 7:31 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A known male suspect threatened and assaulted a female victim during an altercation that turned physical. The victim suffered a minor injury.

Residential Burglary

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Sunday, January 12th at 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) forced an apartment front door open to gain entry into a residence and stole property.

Larceny

900 blk. of University Blvd., on Sunday, January 12th at 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. An unknown group of male suspects stole a set of keys from a business that were left in the door accidentally.
