Public Hearing on Proposed Amendment to the City Charter, Article III City Council, to: Require that Each Voting Ward be Compact in Form, Composed of Adjoining Territory, and Have Substantially Equal Population; Change the Council’s Organizational Meeting to the Second Wednesday Following the Election; and Eliminate Gender Binary Language

2. Public Hearing on Proposed Amendment to the City Charter, Article V Amendment Procedures, to Clarify that the Signature Requirement for Charter Amendment Petitions is Twenty Percent of Registered Voters at the Time of the Last Regular City Election

3. Public Hearing on Proposed Amendment to the City Charter, Article VI Registration, Nominations and Elections, to: Eliminate the 21-Day Residency Requirement for Voters; Eliminate Outdated Procedures and Clarify Existing Language; Eliminate Gender Binary Language; Revise Deadlines to Comport with Early Voting; Provide for Election Ties to be Resolved by Lot Rather than Runoff Election; Eliminate the Requirement that Election Judges be Appointed by the City Council; Expand the Supplemental Voter List from Non-U.S. Citizens to Include Any Residents Registered to Vote Only in City Elections; Replace the Word “Citizens” with the Word “Residents,”Provide that the Signature Requirement for Advisory Referendum Petitions is Twenty Percent of Registered Voters at the Time of the Last Regular City Election; Provide that the Signature Requirement for Recall Petitions is Twenty Percent of Registered Voters of the Ward or of the City as of the Time of the Last Regular City Election; Require that Signatures on Recall Petitions be Obtained After the Most Recent City Election and At Least 180 Days Prior to the Next Regular Election; Prohibit the Council from Reappointing a Recalled Official; and Allow Potential Candidates to Either Nominate Themselves or Second Their Own Nomination
