Road Closures will be at Flower Avenue between Piney Branch Road and Domer Avenue tomorrow, December 7, to perform emergency repairs on a water main servicing 8606 Flower Avenue. Repairs are scheduled to begin at approximately 7:00 or 8:00 am. Click here for more information.

City Offices and Facilities

City Offices and Facilities will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday starting Thursday, November 28, through Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Trash Collection
  • Thursday, November 28, trash, food waste, and recycling routes will be collected on Wednesday, November 27.
  • Friday, November 29, trash, food waste and recycling routes will be collected on Saturday, November 30.

Police

As always, the Takoma Park Police Department is available  24/7.

Passport Services

Passport Service will be closed beginning Wednesday, Nov 27, and will open again on Monday, December 2 for normal business hours (9am-1pm).
