Holiday Closures: City Offices and Facilities Closed Tuesday, Dec. 24-Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 & Wednesday Jan. 1, 2025

 

Holiday Closures:
  • The City of Takoma Park Offices and Facilities will be closed Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, 2024
  • City facilities will close early at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, for the New Year’s Eve holiday.
  • The City of Takoma Park Offices and Facilities will also be closed for the New Year's Day holiday on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Holiday Collection Schedule

For the Christmas holiday - celebrated on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25 :

  • Tuesday routes will receive collection of trash, recycling and food waste on Thursday, December 26
  • Wednesday routes will receive collection of trash, recycling and food waste on Friday, December 27.

For the New Year's Holiday on Wednesday, January 1st:

  • Wednesday routes will receive collection on Thursday, January 2
