The Finance Office oversees the City’s financial resources, processes payroll, pays bills, collects certain fees, and safeguards and invests City funds.
The Office prepares an annual report and facilitates the annual audit of the City’s financial management.
Payment of City Fees
Payments associated with a City-issued invoices may be made online by Visa, Mastercard and Discover. A convenience fee of 2.9% or $1.50, whichever is greater, will be charged. E-check transaction users will have a $1.50 convenience fee charged.
The following fees can be paid online:
*STORMWATER FEE INCREASE AND BILLING CHANGE: In the FY18 Budget Ordinance, the Council approved the Stormwater fee increase from $55 to $92. The fee increase is effective July 2017. Starting from July 2018, the City’s Stormwater fee will be included in the annual Property Tax bill, which is issued and collected by Montgomery County. The billing information will be available online at: montgomerycountymd.gov/finance.

Speed Camera Citations
