About the City Manager
Takoma Park has a Council-Manager form of government.
The City Manager of Takoma Park oversees the day-to-day management of City operations and works to ensure that City staff provide excellent services to the community and adhere to best practices in managing city finances. The City Manager is appointed by the City Council, implements the policies set by the Council, and prepares an annual budget for their consideration.
