City Council Closed Session - Monday, January 23, 2023

City Council meetings take place in the Community Center Auditorium. The public may attend the meeting or view the meeting as always: on City TV (RCN – 13, HD 1060; Comcast/xfinity – 13, HD 997; Verizon Fios – 28), on the City Council Video Page of the City Website; on YouTube, or on Facebook.   Meetings may also be viewed on Zoom.

The Council vote to convene in closed session will take place on Zoom due to an emergency in the Community Center. The building will be closed beginning at 6:30 PM.

COUNCIL VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION
The City Council will vote to convene in closed session on Monday, January 23, at 6:30 PM, to meet with the City’s Labor Attorney to receive legal advice, including matters related to collective bargaining negotiations, and to meet with the City Attorney to receive legal advice regarding the Takoma Junction project. The meeting will be closed pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, §3-305(7) and (9). After the closed session, the Council will not reconvene in open session.
