About Utility Work

Takoma Park was incorporated in 1890, utilities have been present in our fabric since its inception. Critical utility infrastructure is a major part of every urban environment. Our energy, communications, transit,  clean and dirty water are all maintained by these networks. Most of the nations critical utilities are aging and Takoma Park is no exception, many federal requirements are spurring and/or funding updates to the system on a grand scale.
