City Offices and Facilities Will Be Closed and Other Department Updates - In Observance of Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19, 2024

City offices & facilities will be closed Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Passport Service will be closed on the following days:

  • Wednesday, June 19 (Juneteenth holiday), and
  • Thursday, June 20 too
  • Passport Services will reopen on Monday, June 24.

Wednesday's trash, recycling, and food waste collection will happen on Thursday, June 20. Holiday collection schedule changes are available on the Holiday Collection Schedule page.

As always, the Takoma Park Police Department is available for emergency services 24/7.
