Traffic Alert: WSSC Water Line Repair Work Requires Single Lane Closure on Philadelphia Avenue Beginning at 6 pm Today

WSSC announced that a water service line repair will take place on Philadelphia Avenue, in the vicinity of Park Avenue. This will commence at approximately 6 pm today and the repair work is expected to conclude by this evening.

To facilitate the repair, a single lane closure will be in effect on Philadelphia Avenue. WSSC personnel will be on-site to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Flaggers will be stationed to direct traffic and maintain a smooth flow during the repair.

In the event that the work zone expands beyond the single lane closure, it may necessitate a temporary closure of the roadway. In such case, a detour will be established to minimize disruptions to local traffic.
