Takoma Park Noise Control Board
From Takoma Park Municipal Code Chapter 14.12, Section 14.12.140
A City Noise Control Board is established to assist and advise the City on noise control issues, including administration and enforcement of this chapter, and to adjudicate noise disturbance complaints.
Noise Control Board Membership
The Board shall consist of up to 7 active members appointed by the Council. All members shall be residents of the City. Board members shall be appointed to staggered three-year terms. Terms end on June 30. Appointments and reappointments are currently suspended pending the City Council’s decision on continuing the Board.
