Grant Programs
The City offers a variety of funding opportunities designed to further City Council’s goals of creating and maintaining a more fiscally and environmentally sustainable community and improving the quality of life for all residents.
Some of these are recurring competitive grant programs for community-based organizations such as the Community Quality of Life and Food Insecurity Reduction grant programs. Others are programs awarding funding to eligible applicants as long as funds remain available, such as the Homestretch downpayment assistance program for first-time homebuyers, and the Open for Business program for businesses opening, expanding, or moving to Takoma Park.
See below for currently available funding opportunities.
