City Council Meeting Agenda - Wednesday, October 12, 2022
City Council meetings are back in the Auditorium. The public may attend the meeting or view the meeting as always: on City TV (RCN – 13, HD 1060; Comcast/xfinity – 13, HD 997; Verizon Fios – 28), on the City Council Video Page of the City Website; on YouTube, or on Facebook.
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CAL
VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION
The City Council will vote to convene in closed session at 6:00 PM. 1. The session will be closed to discuss matters related to the Takoma Junction Redevelopment Project, including consulting with the City Attorney to obtain legal advice and to consult with staff and the City Attorney about pending or potential litigation. The meeting will be closed pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, §3-305(b)(7) and (8). 2. The session will be closed to discuss personnel matters related to the City Manager and receive legal advice. The meeting will be closed pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, §3-305(b)(1) and (7). After the closed session, the Council will reconvene for the regular meeting at 7:30 PM. If the closed session ends before 7:30 PM, the Council will recess until the start of the meeting.
