City Council Notice of Closed Session - Thursday, September 21, 2023

CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL

COUNCIL VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION

The City Council will vote to convene in closed session in order to meet with staff and the City’s Labor Attorney to receive a briefing on and to discuss matters related to collective bargaining negotiations with the City’s two unions.

The meeting will be closed pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, §3-305(b)(7) which permits a meeting to be closed to receive legal advice and 3-305(b)(9) which permits a meeting to be closed to discuss matters related to collective bargaining negotiations.

At the end of the closed session, the Council will not reconvene in open session and will adjourn for the evening.
