Calling All Poets! We Need You!

The Takoma Park Arts cultural series is seeking submissions from poets who are interested in reading their original work in the Third Thursday Poetry Reading series. Applicants don’t have to be city residents, and there is no fee to apply. Please use this link to apply by the Sept. 3 deadline.

We are seeking submissions in three categories:

Poetry in the Public Sphere (politics, race, social justice, etc.) 

Our Environment and Endangered Planet (nature, environmental issues, etc.) 

Open Category (poetry on any subject)
