About the Sligo Mill Overlook Playground
This property, owned and maintained by M-NCPPC, is currently used as open space and a community garden. The Takoma Park Master Plan approved and adopted by M-NCCPC (2000) designates this space for a playground. The City has taken the lead on designing and constructing a playground on a portion of the lot.
Current Project Status
The playground is under construction and is expected to be complete by October 2017.
