Stormwater Management Projects

Takoma Park Stormwater management projects include the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of storm drains, inlets, channels, ditches and stormwater treatment facilities. The main objectives of the project are:  (a) maintenance and improvements of stormwater infrastructure ,(b)pollution removal, (c)erosion prevention, and run- off reduction . The projects are funded through Stormwater Utility fee and state and local grant funds. Takoma Park is a  MS4 Phase II  community  to NPDES  as well as Chesapeake Bay Water Shed Implementation program(WIP)  participant.
