Flower and Sligo Creek Traffic Calming
This intersection has long been a source of concern related to traffic entering the adjacent Long Branch Sligo neighborhood. This project has been developed to address both traffic speed and safety as well as provide treatment for the water run-off entering Sligo Creek from the paved area. Because the area is within Maryland National Capital Park and Planning owned land, the project required joint review and approval between Montgomery Parks and the City.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early July, 2019. D & F Construction has been hired to complete the work.
