About Heffner Park Community Center

The Heffner Park Community Center features a multi-purpose room with a small kitchenette, restrooms and a water fountain. Rentals will also have access to 30 chairs and 10 tables. Rentals at the Heffner Community Center

Multi-Purpose Room

• Resident: $45.00 per hour
• Non-resident: $70.00 per hour
• Business: $90.00 per hour

Please note the business rate applies to any rental held for business purposes (including non-profits), regardless of where the patron or business is located.

Rental Hours

A $75.00 refundable deposit is required for Heffner Park Community Center. Refund of this deposit (full or partial) is contingent on the renter leaving on time and cleaning up after their event. Refunds are processed twice a month.

The park (pavilion/playground) behind Heffner Park Community Center is not individually permitted. The pavilion rental is incorporated in the rental of Heffner Park Community Center only.

To check for availability or to request a room for your next event, please use ActiveNet. Permits are only issued 3 months in advance of the event date. Recreation Department events and programming takes precedence in scheduling. Buildings and shelters are not available for rental with City offices are closed for holidays.

Rental Policies

Review Administrative Regulation No. 2011-1 and the Rental Requests page for regulations governing public use, facilities rentals and general responsibilities of the user.

Note: New rates took effect on September 1, 2022.

Rental Expectations

• Set up and clean up times should be included in your rental timeframe.
• Rooms are not cleaned in between rentals, renters must leave the space as they found it.
• Decorations should not be pinned or taped to the walls as this will damage the paint.
• Please take all trash to the exterior dumpsters when renting Heffner Park Community Center.
• Tables and chairs must remain inside the facility.
• Alcohol is not permitted on premise.
