Takoma-Langley Crossroads Commercial District

Within the City of Takoma Park’s Municipal Code, Chapter 8.36 authorizes the establishment of the Takoma-Langley Crossroads Development Authority. The Authority was created to represent the interests of business and property owners in the Crossroads and includes all commercial properties generally along University Boulevard, from Merrimac Drive to the eastern boundary of the City, and along New Hampshire Avenue, from University Boulevard to Holton Lane (see the map for full boundaries).

The Development Authority was established to promote and market the district and provide security, maintenance, and amenities within the district. The Authority is an independent 501(c)3 organization, and all businesses within the district are members of the District.
