Carroll Avenue Street Resurfacing Project
About Carroll Avenue State Highway Resurfacing
The initial project will include the replacement of curb ramps, some sidewalk repairs, and new sidewalk. The new sidewalk will be installed on Carroll Avenue between University Boulevard and Merrimac Drive. No improvements to the intersection of Carroll Avenue and Flower Avenue will occur with this project. The sections of sidewalk repair will be across from the former hospital entrance. The project will end with the milling of the existing roadway and placing a new 2″ layer of asphalt in the following sections.
- DC line to Westmoreland Avenue
- From Philadelphia Avenue to Jefferson Avenue
- Former Hospital entrance to Flower Avenue
- Long Branch Parkway to University Boulevard
The contractor is likely to start this work in early April.
