Command Staff - Captain Michelle Holmes

Captain Michelle Holmes started her law enforcement career with the Housing Authority Police Force in Baltimore on May 2, 1988.  During her tenure with the Housing Police, she rose through the ranks, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. She began her career with the Takoma Park Police Department on June 3, 2001.  During her time with Takoma Park, she served in Patrol, Traffic Enforcement, Criminal Investigations and Administrative Services. Captain Holmes has received numerous awards in her career, including Letters of Commendation, Unit Citations, Command Recognitions, Chief’s Special Recognition, a Bronze Star, and Officer of the Year.  Captain Holmes is currently the Commander of the Support Services/Administrative Division.
