Phone Outage: Public Works Phones Are Currently Down

The IT Department has been made aware that Montgomery County Fibernet is experiencing an outage. Public Works phones are down.

Montgomery County continues to work on Fibernet restoration, and repair is expected by 9 pm this evening.

Public Works phones are expected to be operational by the start of business Thursday.

 

 

Holiday Closure: Independence Day

 

City Offices and Facilities will be closed Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Winter Basketball Games Canceled Today

CUPF has notified us they are closing in school activities at noon today. Therefore all Winter Basketball League games from noon and beyond have been canceled.

City Buildings Will Close Today At 5:00 PM

Due to weather conditions, all City buildings will close today at 5:00 p.m.; these facilities include the Community and Recreation Center and Library. The City will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and re-evaluate the status of City operation for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Should the City operating status be changed, employees will be notified via the Alert system and City email. Please be safe!

Delayed Opening until 10:30am Monday, Jan 3, 2022.

Due to the winter weather, the City will delay opening until 10:30am today, Monday Jan. 3.

The City is aware of the weather event moving through the area, and we are closely monitoring the progress of the storm.

All Essential staff should report to work at their normal scheduled times. All Non-essential employees may choose to telework, if eligible, or take liberal leave, in the form of vacation, compensatory leave, and personal time.

All Non-essential employees who do not telework or take liberal leave are expected to work their normal schedule in their regular work location until an alternate closure announcement.
